In the first eight months of 2025, PREMIUM Insurance Company recorded a significant increase in interest in the insurance of family houses, flats, and households. The number of new insurance policies rose by almost 29% year-on-year.

Even more notable is the increase in the combined number of extended and new policies – by almost 34%.

The growing trust in the quality of insurance provided by PREMIUM Insurance Company is further evidenced by the year-on-year increase in residential building insurance. Gross premiums written in this segment increased by 31.65%, placing the company among the top three in the Slovak insurance market.

This trend clearly shows that Slovak households consider insurance protection essential –especially at a time of rising prices for energy, construction materials, and building work. At the same time, it confirms that PREMIUM Insurance Company is gaining increasing trust among Slovak households.

Faster claims handling

A logical consequence of the higher number of concluded policies is the growing number of reported insured events. The year-on-year increase in handled insurance claims amounted to 49.9%. PREMIUM Insurance Company prepared for this development and is now able to handle claims more quickly.

In 2025, claims handlers at PREMIUM Insurance Company processed an average of 4.89 claims per day, representing a significant increase compared to the previous year. Similarly, the settlement of claims in the residential buildings segment recorded a 41.21% increase in the rate of handled insurance events. This means that PREMIUM Insurance Company is successfully fulfilling one of its three key strategic objectives – maximum quality in claims settlement.

In June 2025, the insurance company launched the AI Assistant – a unique solution that provides insurance intermediaries with immediate answers to questions about insurance products and terms. In the first two months alone, the AI Assistant responded to more than 1,100 questions from intermediaries.

The main benefits of the AI Assistant are time savings and greater accuracy of responses. Information that previously required lengthy study of documents is now available within seconds. As a result, intermediaries who communicate with clients during the conclusion of insurance contracts can respond to their questions faster and with greater certainty.

This increases the professionalism of the entire insurance-arranging process as well as the settlement of insured events, while also minimising the risk of misinterpreting insurance terms.
